Houston, Texas — Gordon Arata McCollam Duplantis & Eagan LLP, with offices in Houston, Texas, and New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and Lafayette, Louisiana, elected J. Lanier Yeates as a member of the Management Committee on July 26, 2008 and is now the Managing Partner of the Houston Office. Mr. Yeates is a lawyer licensed to practice in Texas and Louisiana. His practice principally involves energy matters.

By following the three tips below, you can do your part to ensure a safe place to work...for everyone.

1. Become familiar with the people in your immediate work area to easily identify an individual who may not belong there.
2. Lock all doors and shut down all electrical devices when leaving your work space.
3. Keep a list of emergency contacts and information for employees, clients and police, fire, and paramedic departments.

Creep and crawl to the 14th floor on Friday, October 31st from 11:00 – 1:00 for our annual Halloween Spooktacular!

Don’t be a ‘fraidy cat – help yourself to some early tricks and treats on the 14th floor – guaranteed to put a smile on any goblin’s face! Vampires, bone readers, fortune tellers will be lurking at their tables waiting to fill your heads with mysterious readings. Whether it is riches, health or a lost love you seek be sure to join us.

On Halloween Friday – come costumed as your favorite ghoul or ghost, celebrity or celebrant! Candy and treats await you during your lunch break as you frolic among the fabulous and fearsome!
